For those of us who are ready for Halloween season before summer even reaches its peak, TJ Maxx started putting out its Halloween products back in July. Now that September is here, the full displays have arrived, and the store is packed with seasonal finds: from games and costumes for kids to fall-scented candles, bath and body products, home décor, and ghosts galore! If you haven’t stopped in to see some of the 2026 Halloween collection yet, this is a great time to take a look.
TJ Maxx is known for its great holiday selection, and the prices are usually pretty affordable, so I could think of no better place to start my Halloween shopping. This week, I stopped in to check out some of the new 2026 Halloween products and picked a few of my favorite finds to share here. And yes, a few of them came home with me!
🕯️ TJ Maxx Halloween Candles
First, candles. Now I’m usually very picky about the candles I burn and opt for brands like Bath & Body Works’ White Barn candles and sometimes higher end brands like Trapp and Illuminations when I’m feeling really indulgent, or I burn my own that I make at home, which is what I do most of the time. However when the season hits and a little candle sitting on the store shelf smells good, I give credit where credit is due. And some of these smelled really good, especially with their ten dollar price tags, and I wound up getting the Martha Stewart Maple Butter Pancakes candle, which is not even a scent I would normally like, but I was in a mood.
🧴 Halloween Bath & Body Finds
I’m a fan of all nicely scented things (which I think started with a scented eraser collection I had as a child, that or from my mom’s love of candles) so I had to stop and admire this ‘Spooky Aroma Oils’ haunted house next to a matching black and white soap dispenser in the bath and body section. Not sure how the aroma oils smell, but this is super cute.
🏠 TJ Maxx Halloween Home Decor
TJ Maxx is also known for their wide variety of home items, and Halloween is no exception. Last year I bought a spider kitchen towel similar to the black and white bats towel shown here, and it’s one of the most elegant additions to my kitchen! Also, the towel is incredibly absorbent! Here were some of my favorites. The cat bag came home with me.

And last but not least, they have a wide variety of Halloween products for the kids, from costumes to games to coloring books, there are so many adorable items! These were some standouts for me – I always love the ghosts.
